Easter is over and according to tradition it's now 'acceptable' to start sporting seersucker pants, white sandals, and linen dresses. We are so excited to carry Rikshaw Design's beautiful kurtas by Catherine Fitzsimmons.  You may have seen her unique products featured in Southern Living, InStyle and Pregnancy magazines as well as countless high profile blogs across the country.  Catherine, company founder,  finds inspiration from her worldly background and corporate life.  She worked for Ralph Lauren and Pottery Barn as a textile buyer which took her to India.  There she fell in love with the art of Indian block-printing and the lovely imperfections created by the old art form.  In 2008, she launched the baby & accessory lines of Rikshaw Design which quickly became a must-have.

Undrest: My first bikini of 2011

Ophelia customers are always saying to me, "Wow! You must own tons of swimsuits!" Well, not really. I seem to get so caught up in suiting up other people that I hardly think about swimsuits for myself. Not to mention that I don't have the "beach spare time" that I used to.  BUT - I have finally picked out my very own swimsuit for 2011…

Today's SPOTLIGHT Bikini by Heidi Klein

We've talked about Heidi Klein a lot but we continue to be amazed by her beautiful and wearable designs.  The Nassau Bow Bikini comes in black or cream and flatters so many different body types.  The bottoms have a fold-over waist band which adds control.  The top has slight padding for support with a bra-like shape.   Come check it out.   It just may end up being your dream suit! ;)

Ophelia Swimwear photo shoot: Watersound Beach

Last week, photographer Michael Granberry spent two sunny afternoons photographing Ophelia's HOT local models. All girls were wearing this season's must have swimwear trends.
The locale was breathtaking Watersound Beach! This 30A resort is a 15 minute drive east of Ophelia's shop in Grayton Beach.

 Madra of M Public relations was exceptional in assisting us with organizing and styling!

 Rolland's Beauty Bar did a fabulous job!! Working with Ophelia on makeup/hair for photo shoots is not an easy task.  We like for the girls to look very natural as we think this is indicative of our area. Thank you Shannon and Mindy for creating the perfect "natural glam" look!
